I am a user experience designer by profession and interest. User research, interaction design and visual design excite me equally - each working at different levels to provide immaculate product experience. Along with a talented team of designers at vmware Inc., I am striving towards providing a flawless product user experience to our customers.

Prior to this, I was busy at University of Michigan where I attained my graduate degree in HCI and Social Computing at School of Information, University of Michigan. Bachelor of Design with a major in Communication Design from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati.

I have had the privilege to work in this field for around 5 years with some of the most dynamic companies in the industry like Yahoo!, Trilogy and MindTree. I worked with Yahoo! as a Sr. Interaction Designer and was dedicated to the user experience design of the ad system from a sales and publisher perspective. I was also closely involved with the "Yahoo! Page Builder" initiative.

In design, I have specific interest in Human-Computer Interaction, Conceptualization, Social Computing and Data Visualization. In my free time I also like to work on folk arts, sketching, dramatics, miming and singing.
